Abstract: The article considers the main approaches to innovation management in the fuel and energy complex (FEC) and priority activities of the Ministry of energy of Russia fuel and energy complex. The analysis of innovative development programs of FEC companies, which allows us to distinguish the special role of the formation of innovation infrastructure and its individual elements in the management of innovation.
