An empirical study: How does external capital affect economic growth in Russia

Abstract:
The article presents the empirical study on the influence of foreign capital on economic growth in Russia during 1995-2015. The analysis shows that the model of economic growth in Russia is dynamic, there is no strong evidence of effects of FDI on GDP growth but there external private debt negatively affected the growth of the Russian economy.
