New approaches to the global bank regulation in Russia

Abstract: The article considers the main tasks of banking regulation and issue of systemic risk buildup resolution. The author of the article proposes further approaches on fine-tuning of the banking regulation policy in Russia. The article also discusses topical issues of credit institutions risk management development and optimization in the context of transition to comply with new regulatory requirements of the Bank of Russia regarding interna/capitaladequacy assessment procedures reflecting the concept of Basel II and Basel III agreements.
