Abstract: The article shows the prospects of building tenement houses for workers, which is the main object of corporate social responsibility of companies-employers. The experience of building homes of this type in the Russian Empire and advanced foreign countries. Advantages and disadvantages of these projects and the complexity of their implementation. The conclusion is made about feasibility of their implementation with the aim of increasing the effectiveness of employees and profit maximizing firms.
