Influence of the «shadow economy» on the «middle class» in Middle East

Abstract: In the article the concept of the middle class characteristic of Arab countries is considered. Along with it the data on the share of the middle class in some Arab countries is given. Besides, the data on the volume of the shadow economy from 1999 to 2015 is given. The influence of illegal economy in Middle East countries on the size of the middle class is analyzed.
