Abstract: In this article, approaches to the integration of modern information technologies into the sphere of economic analysis in organizations, based on example of business intelligence systems are considered. Based on the analysis of different opinions of foreign and domestic experts, the author systematizes the functional capabilities of this technology, its advantages and disadvantages. The current situation in the field of using business intelligence systems both in Russia and abroad is examined, problems of introducing business intelligence systems at domestic enterprises are revealed, and prospects for the development of business intelligence as modern information technology in the field of economic analysis and improvements of economic analysis methodology in the organizations.
