Problems and prospects of dedollarization

Abstract: The article deals with the issues of dedollarization and its prospects. It is emphasized that the dollar continues to occupy leading positions in the international payment turnover. It is noted that not only the EU countries seek to strengthen the position of the Euro in international settlements, but also China pursues a policy to strengthen the position of its currency. Attention is paid to the activities of the Bank of Russia to reduce the share of the dollar in the gold and currency reserves of the country.
