The role of the state in the formation of the property of Russian companies
A. F. Gribov ()
Scientific notes of the Russian academy of entrepreneurship, vol. 17, issue 4
Abstract:
The article deals with the problems of large state participation in the ownership of large Russian companies. It is shown that on the basis of the Modigliani-Miller theory it is possible to justify the need for a significant reduction in the share of state ownership in large state-owned companies. This will ultimately reduce a number of problems, including the payment of dividends and debt, and improve the efficiency of companies.
