Methodological individualism in theoretical studies of market economy

Abstract: The article discusses an approach to economic research based on the use of both methodological individualism and methodological collectivism. On the basis of the theory of social systems and the results of interdisciplinary research, it is proved which principles of methodological individualism and collectivism are confirmed, and which principles contradict reality. Hence, the conclusion about the methodological principles that it is advisable to form the basis of a theoretical study of a market economy.
