Abstract: The article is devoted to the study of theoretical and methodological aspects of a risk-based approach to ensure an effective enterprise management system. The basic elements of a risk-based approach are disclosed, its essence, goals and objectives are determined. The concept of balance as the basis of a risk-based approach is designated and the content of its main components is disclosed in detail.
