Abstract:
If there is one of humanity's old projects, the concern for sustainability is a major concern. Even if there is no concept of sustainable development in African languages, it is necessary to detect through the tradition of this people the concern for sustainability. She is expressed through her oral texts and her daily experience. Thus, in the present research through the analysis and interpretation of the Ngombe (DRC) discourse, we have highlighted this conception with its ethical dimension. Throughout our cogitation, it has been a question of reminding our world and Africa that sustainable development is an existential project that goes beyond spatio-temporal realities. What needs to be done is to take in to account the life of each being with dignity in order to achieve a socio-ecological balance.
