Abstract:
This article focuses on the issue of the blue economy in Tunisia. This subject is topical on the southern shore of the Mediterranean, a shore that shares the same marine ecosystem with Tunisia. With the help of the European Union, Tunisia has made progress in terms of maritime ecological catch-up, but there is still a long way to go. In this paper, we will draw up (i) the inventory of the blue economy governance and, (ii) the integrated marine areas management in Tunisia. The documentary studies have shown that the integrated management of coastal zones is confronted with regulatory, institutional and Quantitative which is manifested by the multitude of Sectoral Plans and actors involved in the matter, and whose roles are not clearly defined. A series of recommendations by deadline is thus advanced.
