Abstract:
This study investigates a demand-driven multi-level inventory optimization framework for automotive manufacturing, leveraging Electronic Demand Index (EDI) signals and Bill-of-Materials (BOM) structures. The research focuses on addressing inventory challenges amidst fluctuating OEM production cycles, minimizing stagnant inventory costs, and optimizing raw material replenishment strategies. By analyzing historical EDI data and lifecycle trends, the study proposes a systematic approach to calculate safety stock levels and improve inventory management efficiency.
