Education, urbanism, and gentrification: convergence of issues and solutions

Carlos Alberto Gómez Cano

Gentrification, 2023, vol. 1, 1

Abstract: This article explores the intersection between education, urbanism, gentrification, and analyzes how these phenomena interact and affect social cohesion and equity in contemporary cities. Through a qualitative and hermeneutic approach, the study investigates how urban and educational policies can be designed to mitigate the negative effects of gentrification, such as the displacement of vulnerable communities, and promote a more inclusive and sustainable development. The article seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities in building fairer cities
