Abstract:
Introduction: We present the surgical clinical case of a superficial palmar arch aneurysm of the left upper limb. Results: Treatment was performed with analgesics combined with total aneurysmectomy of the involved vessel, then continued with local cures and ends with a comprehensive rehabilitation process in order to recover the important functions of the hand and its digital pincer. Conclusions: We draw attention to this rare pathology in the differential diagnosis of different tumors in the palmar region. This case presents the classic clinical features of an aneurysm, such as pulsatility and frémito, although it occurred in a young patient. Due to their low incidence, these aneurysms represent a challenge in diagnosis and treatment
