Abstract:
Objective: to design a guide for the evaluation and grading of theoretical and practical exams for residents in Imaging at the Dr. Antonio Agostinho Neto Gynaecological and Obstetric Teaching Hospital in Guantánamo. Methods: an exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional investigation was carried out during the 2024 academic year. Theoretical and empirical methods were used, which allowed for the analysis of the main references on the subject and documentary analysis. Results: the guide consists of two sections, one for the practical exam and the other for the theoretical exam, which are evaluated and graded independently, with several components in each section. The way to evaluate each one and the methodology to be followed is proposed and explained. Conclusions: the use of the guide is an essential element in the evaluation of knowledge, while at the same time allowing for the homogenization of the evaluation system and raising the quality and rigor of the teaching-learning process.
