Seminars in Medical Writing and Education, 2025, vol. 4, 691

Abstract: Academic entrepreneurship has established itself as a strategic pillar in higher education by promoting competencies focused on innovation, sustainability, and productive transformation. This article presents the experience of the Centro Universitario de los Altos in implementing a multi-axis model that combines different institutional components with the aim of strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the educational environment. The multi-axis model promotes interaction between the university, industry, and government and integrates socio-ecological, cultural, and digital factors that enable the development of a knowledge-based economy. Through this approach, students acquire essential entrepreneurial skills, digital competencies, and interdisciplinary skills necessary to succeed in a rapidly evolving market. The results underscore the effectiveness of this model in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs, ultimately fostering innovation and sustainable development.
