Abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the adoption of artificial intelligence and the metaverse in education, highlighting their potential to personalize learning and provide instant feedback. A descriptive study was conducted with 38 teachers in Quito, evaluating the acceptance of AI technologies through surveys based on the Technology Acceptance Model. The results showed a positive attitude towards AI and the metaverse, influenced by perceived usefulness, ease of use, and self-efficacy. The importance of these factors for technological adoption is emphasized. Despite limitations, the study highlights the potential of AI and the metaverse to enhance educational practices and suggests further research.
