Abstract: Emotional salary is defined as the well-being and satisfaction that employees receive beyond their monetary salary. This concept encompasses personal development, recognition and social benefits that employees can receive in their work environment. We can say that emotional salary can go beyond mere economic well-being to recognize employees as whole beings, valuing their contributions and promoting its integral development. It can be argued that, by providing benefits such as professional development, work flexibility, recognition and a positive work environment, a strong emotional salary can lead to greater productivity and creativity as employees feel more motivated and engaged in their work. These benefits strengthen, generating a feeling of belonging and motivation. In addition, long-term commitment is promoted, as employees see a promising future in the company. Consequently, emotional salary encourages employee loyalty and motivates them to contribute actively and positively to the company's success. The benefits of emotional salary can also include intangible aspects, such as public recognition by managers, the possibility of participating in decision-making or in important projects for the company. These benefits contribute to creating a good work environment since employees feel that they can give their best, which in turn can translate into greater talent retention and a better corporate image.
