Work motivation as an essential component of productivity in companies in Colombia

Abstract: The research entitled Work motivation as an essential component in productivity in companies in Colombia. Its main objective is to show the importance of motivation in employees and in such a way the influence that this topic has for the production of companies and for the good performance of employees. The topic of demotivation at work and the factors that it entails and how it can be mitigated are shown. A broad focus is made on the positive aspects when providing strategies to encourage work motivation, since it results in employee performance leading to business success. In an increasingly competitive and globalized environment, work motivation is the fundamental basis for achieving efficient and effective employee management. When workers feel motivated, their performance improves efficiently, which in turn positively impacts the organization's results.
