Abstract:
This article addresses the importance of improving the satisfaction and quality of palliative care in oncology patients treated on an outpatient basis in a level III health facility in Lima, Lima, 2023. It highlights the need to intervene in critical areas such as treatment information, pain management, and emotional, social and spiritual support. In addition, the potential of teleconsultation to improve patient accessibility and satisfaction is recognized. The results reveal significant levels of dissatisfaction in several areas, underscoring the urgency of implementing interventions that improve patient experience and comprehensive care. This study highlights the importance of addressing the complex needs of oncology patients and their families, as well as considering innovative approaches, such as teleconsultation, to optimize outpatient oncology care.
