HUMAN RIGHTS AND THE FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS. THE ARAB SYSTEM

Maria Amorina Stoian

FIAT IUSTITIA, 2023, vol. 18, issue 2, 112-119

Abstract: In some Arab states, there are significant violations of fundamental rights and freedoms. In certain Arab countries, some women’s rights face discriminations and restrictions in areas such as education, the right to work and family rights. Another important aspect to monitor is related to human rights in the context of armed conflict. In states amidst armed conflicts or in areas affected by instability, there are concerns about human rights violations.
