Abstract: One of the objectives of the Romanian agricultural strategy is the harmonization of Romanian agricultural policy with that of the European Union, that is, with the common agricultural policy. The success of the convergence process will be influenced mainly by economic evolutions both in Romania and in its relations with the EU. It is, therefore, necessary to analyze the compatibility and convergence of Romania’s agricultural policy with the European Union’s.
