Abstract: This paper’s goal is to show how an asynchronous communication component which can also be used in teaching activities was installed, configured and implemented on the website of the Department of Accounting and Economic Informatics of the Economics Faculty within the Dunarea de Jos University in Galati. This component is known under the name of forum or discussion board.
