Abstract: The role of reinsurance is quickly evolving in this world of technological, regulatory and market changes, so the reinsurance markets also allows for some portion of the losses from an event to be absorbed by international markets (and investors), thereby diversifying the burden away from the domestic financial system. This article analyses some aspects of reinsurance trends and it examines some models applied in this field.
