Abstract: The paper addresses risk management in Romanian pre-university educational system. The first part presents theoretical information on the concept of risk, risk management and the process of identification, assessment and control of risks. The application part analyzes the risks that may occur in Romanian schools, respectively an analysis on the probability of risk occurrence, their impact and level, alongside the countermeasures established and implemented by schools in Romania.
