The Influence of Distributive, Procedural and Interactive Organizational Justice in Public Organisations in Israel on the Burnout of Employees

Abstract: This article discusses the implications of the three types of organizational justice on the burnout of public employees from public institutions from Arab sector in the north part of Israel. The research sample was made of 389 participants that have completed valid questionnaire, out of 500 distributed questionnaires, leading to a rate of response of 77.8%. The data was collected using the widely used questionnaire of Niehoff &Moorman for measuring the variable of organizational and the Maslach Burnout Inventory to assess burnout of employees. The hypothesis formulated about the existence of a negative correlation between each of the three: distributive, procedural and interactive organizational justice, on one hand, and the burnout of employees, on the other hand, were validated. Several recommendations for managers about actions to be taken to mitigate the burnout of employees due to perceived organizational justice were formulated.
