Abstract:
The study focusses on the financial behaviour of the companies listed at the Bucharest Stock Exchange and that have been involved in corporate social responsibility activities in past, respectively the 2017, 2018 and 2019 years. The absence of a clear definition of the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) is an impediment as well as the lack of legislation in this field in Romania. However, in the business and academic environment there is a growing interest in CSR activities.
