Abstract: In the context of the unemployment difference between females and the total number of unemployed existing in most countries, this paper analyses this difference from the perspective of the age and training of females for the period 1997-2021. Also, considering the importance of female education in the B&A field as vectors for increasing women's employability, the number of females by training level and age for the period 2013-2020 was analysed. Also, three macroeconomic indices are added, with influence on the desirability of B&A education, from the perspective of the development of the field of research and development of the area of social sciences. The main objective is to observe the different evolutions of female unemployment and female education in the field of B&A, correlated with the evolution of macroeconomic indices. The method uses graphic representations, with Eurostat data for Romania, to observe the evolution of correlated data. The conclusions show a higher unemployment rate for females under 25 years of age and lower levels of training, but lower than men in the same category. Likewise, the unemployment of females with higher education and over 25 years of age came close to matching the total unemployment rate. The values of the economic indices did not demonstrate a clear influence, even showing inversely proportional influences, but it indicates that specialized programs in B&A education can increase the number of females with higher education in this field.
