LERMONTOV'S TEXT IN THE CONTEXT OF THE DIALOGUE OF CULTURES

Abstract: ABSTRACT. The aim of the study is showing the essence of dialogue as interaction between cultures through Lermontov's texts. Methods. The author applies comparative and historical research methods. Results. These methods allow singling out two closely related problems: the problem of dialogue as interaction between cultures, the problem of bilingualism, where the language acts as deception, disorientation, representative of the strange culture. Conclusions. It is concluded that today the question of dialogical essence of the cultures moved to one of the first places. The special sound of this issue is in relation to the Caucasus region.Â
