Abstract: The aim of the study is to highlight the structural features of complex key word combinations with inhomogeneous definitions in the Kabardino-Circassian, Adyghe and Avar languages. Methods. Structural and descriptive, correlation, generalization. Results. The criteria influencing the creation of a homogeneous set of definitions are established; factors determining the arrangement of the components of a complex attributive phrase are identified. Conclusions. It is established that when solving the problem of differentiation of homogeneous and inhomogeneous definitions in the composition of a complex attributive syntagma in the studied languages, the most optimal is the recognition of the necessity of both morphological, syntactic, and semantic features, having in mind the dominant role of the latter for forming a number of homogeneity of definitions.
