Merkel. The method of stylistic analysis of texts of aforementioned politicians’ public speeches.Conclusions. H. Clinton’s speech is built with regard to peculiarities of American mentality and contains a large amount of stylistic devices, among which metaphors and epithets, meant to make the appeal to electors more saturated and memorable, are more often used. In the texts of the chancellor of Germany A. Merkel’s public speeches such stylistic devices as epithets, parallel constructions and rhetorical questions dominate, that lets her persuade the audience in her rectitude. D. Trump seldom uses such a brilliant device of any spectacular political speech as a central metaphor; his speeches are often lack of the binding beginning. It is remarkable that namely inanity, incoherence and inconsequence form the original persuasion of his personality, inspiring trust.Â
