Phraseologisms in Russian Business Discourse (on the Material of Business Documentation)

Abstract:
The aim is studying the peculiarities of phraseological units functioning in the Russian busi-ness discourse.Methods. Structural analysis of phraseological units of business discourse.Results. The authors describe the concept of business discourse, the features of the use of phraseological units of the Russian business discourse. The article analyzes the material from the Russian-language business documentation of legal and economic orientation (business letters, correspondence, contracts).Conclusion. Language features of business discourse are determined by semantic requirements: unambiguity of the statement, sequence, argumentation, clarity and brevity of the statement.
