Abstract:
The aim of the following article is to show that there is an existing link between the nature of innovation and the organizational structure of the project team in charge of its development. With the help of three empirical classifications based on a sample of 54 projects stemming from six branches of industry, we identify three distinct configurations of innovation. They each link up a type of innovation with a type of control and an organizational profile of the project team.
