Abstract:
Through 7075 bibliographical references of 249 articles published in French-written journals between 1990 and 1995, the authors propose a bibliometric analysis of strategy. They demonstrate the structuring mode of French research thanks to cooccurrence clusters:French authors refer to both external (industrial economics, sociology, etc.) and internal fundamentals (competitive advantage, incrementalism, etc.). These are frameworks for the understanding of strategy. Authors also refer to works on four specific research objects:processes, manoeuvers, SME, technology. The historic dynamics of identified clusters contribute to a better understanding of the structuring of the discipline.
