Abstract: (VF)Comment entretenir un flux constant d’innovations? Pour répondre à cette question, cet article étudie les liens entre les différentes innovations de la firme, en particulier technologique et organisationnelle. Cinq études de cas sont choisies pour leur caractère emblématique de neuf transitions entre innovations. Notre cadre théorique repose sur les processus de prise de décision : analogique, déductif et inductif. Ces processus soulignent la complexité des relations entre les différentes innovations de la firme et mettent notamment en perspective le rôle de l’innovation organisationnelle dans les développements de produits.(VA)How do firms sustain continuous innovation ? To deal with this question, the present article focuses on the connection between various types of innovation in firms, both technological and organizational. Five case studies pertaining to nine transitions between innovations are chosen for the emblematic perspective they offer. Our theoretical framework is based on decision making processes:analogical, deductive and inductive. These processes em-phasize the complex relationship between the various innovations of the firm and lead to an understanding of the role of organizational innovation in sustained product development.
