The Global Welfare of Illegal Immigration: A Note

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to complement Bond and Chen (1987) by examining the labour-exporting country and global welfare. The main result we obtain is that an introduction of enforcement policy makes the labour-exporting country as well as the world as a whole worse off.
