Abstract:
In the context of market economy, with priority the economic category of profitableness has to be addressed with the category of risk. The investors are expecting a gain that depends on the degree of risk they are assuming. This paper is trying to put in correlation the role of the duality profitableness – risk in the financial management of a company. The purpose of this paper is to provide managers and ownership information about the main categories of risks that can occur in a company.
