Abstract:
Does strategic appreciation for the modern management model follow the ups and downs of economic cycles? Using multilevel regression we study the effects of organization adaptation on strategic level appreciation. The findings indicate that in particular managing factors matter for strategic-level attitudes towards the organizations developments. Strategic features – ability and specific strategy stakes – also affect attitudes towards the organization developments. Moreover, there are substantial differences in how manager from the opposing ends of the political spectrum perceive the organization developments.
