Abstract:
This study investigates the effect of carbon management strategies on wealth maximization of listed financial services firms in Nigeria. This was with a view to providing information on how carbon management strategies could be useful in explaining wealth maximization. Utilizing panel secondary data from eight selected firms over the period 2014-2023, sourced from annual financial statements, the research explores variables such as carbon emissions intensity (CEI), renewable energy adoption (REA), and carbon pricing implementation (CPI).
