The aim of this paper is to study the final consumption expenditure per capita in the OECD. We consider the twelve big expenditure groups , and we analyze two different sides, on the one hand the evolution, and on the other a comparison among the countries, We develop an econometric model to estimate the growth of private sectoral expenditure, and we compare the private and public expenditure in health and education.
