Abstract:
The goal of this study is to characterize the prospects of development of the Russian grain market in the long term and the short term on the basis of generalization of experts’ opinions, as well as studying the dynamics of regional grain prices. Considering the complexity of collecting and summarizing the opinions of leading Russian experts on various issues, the comparison of their views with the views of local experts seems promising. The study of seasonal price fluctuations is important for the participants of the grain market, because it allows organizing effectively sales policy and significantly increasing the profits from the sale of certain months of price action.
