Abstract:
In the years of the Argentinian post-convertibility period (2002-2012), changes in the manufacturing sector dynamics were established with respect to the previous Convertibility period (1991-2001). The beverage producing sector is part of this new process due to its significant accumulation at a dynamic level. The present work seeks to contribute to the issue by addressing meso and micro economic dimensions for the understanding of the process of concentration and internationalization of the companies competing in the sector. Strategies of international and local development affecting the market are identified, mainly following the cases of the Coca Cola System and AB InBev.
