Abstract:
This paper presents a comparative analysis of distributive trade in EU countries. Distributive trade, a component of the services sector, is very important in terms of value added and employment. We analyse the main indicators for the distributive sector between EU countries and the new candidates countries and we make further analysis within this sector in EU countries. We also include an analysis of distributive trade in Spain from a regional point of view in comparison with EU15 and Central Europe countries.
