The Examination of The Relations of Authenticity, Related Self-Construal and Psychological Resilience With Psychological Disharmony: An Evaluation Within The Context of Cultural Psychology and Positive Psychology

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to examine the relations of psychological disharmony which has been investigated as a spectrum concept of depression, anxiety, and stress with perceived authenticity, related self construal, and psychological resilience. The sample of the study was composed of the managers and teachers working in public middle schools in Istanbul. The results od the study has revealed that related self construal had negative relationships with despression, anxiety, and stress; authenticity has negative realtionship with depression but positive relationship with anxiety and stress. In addition, it was reported that psychological resilience was negatively related with all three dimensions of depression, anxiety, and stress.
