Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between work alienation and the work performance of accounting professionals. The general view is that the alienation negatively influences the work performance. The study was designed to consider the relationship of these two variables among the professionals of accounting, and accordingly 424 accounting professionals in Kocaeli were interviewed. In line with the objective of the research, the relationships between the work alienation and work performances considering the demographic variables of the accounting professionals were examined. Based on the T-test and ANOVA results, it was determined for the accounting professionals that there is a significant difference for work alienation, and a positive correlation between the work alienation and work performance with regards to gender and title differences.
