The Relationship of Organizational Cynicism, Burnout, And Organizational Commitment: A Study On Middle School Teachers

Abstract: The relationship between organizational cynicism and burnout is investigated in this study through teachers? organizational commitment. The purpose of this research is to identify the cynicism, burnout, and organizational commitment levels of workers in the field of education, and to determine the relationships among them. In line with this purpose, data received from 247 middle school teachers employed in 16 public schools under the Ministry of National Education in Istanbul were analyzed. The statistical result revealed a negative significant relationship to exist between teachers' perceptions of organizational commitment and their levels of organizational cynicism and burnout.
