Abstract: Youth tourism in the world has become important for the recognition of destinations. In fact that the destinations that keep pace with the travel habits of young people have become a global trend has shown the importance of youth tourism. In the research, questions on the perception of Istanbul, its challenges and the young tourists? preferences were asked. 311 young tourists were interviewed by survey method. The researcher conducted the survey in the in the Sultanahmet and Beyoglu districts and the Grand Bazaar on January 2019. According to the responses obtained from the 311 participants, it was found out that Istanbul is similar to as the people living in Istanbul encounter.
