Abstract:
People are involved in work activities which are generally referred to as jobs or professions. But there are different aspects of ?profession? and ?job? concepts. There is also an organization in which individuals depend on their occupations. These organizations not only protect the legal rights of individuals in the profession, but also impose some order and limitations on the profession. In Turkey, Tourism guidance law was adopted as a profession. After the professional law, the responsibilities of all individuals who actively carry out the tourism guidance profession have increased. There has been an increase in responsibilities and responsibilities of the members of the vocational chambers of guidance. So far, there have been no studies in our country on tourist guides and guide chambers relations. In this study, an area survey was carried out for tourist guides affiliated with Nevsehir Chamber of guides, and through the research, the perceptions of the tourist guides affiliated with Nevsehir Chamber of guides, the main problems areas and the expectations of the future were determined. The study also aims to contribute to the development and improvement of the relations between the member guides of the guide chambers, tourist guides and guide chambers. As of 01.06.2013, according to the tourist guides statistics, there are 13 regional guide chambers, 10189 guides affiliated to the Association of Tourist Guides. In the field of tourist guidance, there is no research on tourist guide and guide chamber relations. Based on this lack in the literature, the relationship between the guide rooms and the tourist guides will be examined by evaluating each other.
