Abstract: Jamal al-Din al-Qasimi was a person who realized his intellectual weave in line with the main problems of his time. In his 49 years of life, al-Qasimi had a brilliant scholarly life both in terms of the works he produced and the students he trained. The most important work of Jamal al-Din al-Qasimi, one of the leading figures of reformist thought in the 20th century, is Mahasin al-Ta'wil. This work is one of his most distinguished works in the context of the science of tafsir. On the other hand, in terms of his ethics and personality, he left a deep mark both on his close circle and on the scientific community to which he belonged. He was an exemplary person who tried to be beneficial to the ummah throughout his life and did not pay attention to people's criticism for this purpose, earning the respect and admiration of even his enemies. He died in 1914 in Damascus and was buried there.
